There is a danger here for the SP. Its getting hard to pin down the identity of the SP. In 2010 there was the SP, then in late 2010 there was the ULA, from soon enough in 2011 it was the SP, a part of the ULA but its own player, then it was again just the SP, and subsequently the SP a lead campaigner of the CAHWT before becoming the SP a lead player in the AAA, before being associated with candidates who will run under the banner AAA, and now its the Stop the Water Tax – Socialist Party but dont for a second presume to think they are a single issue party.
There are benefits and costs to this approach.
