I don’t think SF by itself has the electorial following to pursue a departure into a new agenda. (In fact, I think we need a EU wide debate to begin.) Also, good intentions do not necessarily morph into good policies.
A left debate, cooperating where possible, constructively criticising where practicable, can possibly begin to skew the accepted narrative away from the eco-enviro insanity of the legacy parties into new territory.
Simply-stated policies, pursued relentlessly and with a view to the long term is, imho, the only way forward.
