Comment on Cllr Dermot Looney resigns from Labour …. by irishelectionliterature

Not sure of the answer to that SOS.
I was thinking though about FF, how its often scandal/ selection conventions etc rather than actually disagreeing with policy that caused Councillors and TDs to walk. (Of course the North was the other big issue for people to leave FF)
For all their talk of Reform, Lucinda and co would mostly be still in FG if there hadn’t been the abortion legislation.
The Labour defections are almost entirely over general policy rather than one particular cut/policy .
