Comment on Nelson Mandela RIP by irishelectionliterature

I was talking to my son about Mandela, South Africa and Apartheid this morning. It brought back how repressive and repulsive the regime was.
I also remember that a lad in my class in school went off and joined the South African police force when we finished up in 1987. No idea what happened him since.
