Neither do I believe that the IPR’s work on Hart was just a lucky fluke. Other unfashionable but entirely correct positions taken by the magazine include its critique of the sectarian base of Redmondism and its defence of Irish neutrality in World War II.
Having said that, I must admit that one of the reasons I buy it every month is the fear of missing their exposé of how British intelligence tricked Poland into attacking Germany in 1939. It’s certain to become a collector’s item.
