I thought it was very cloth-eared of the SBP to make the pretence that low taxation isn’t ideological in and of itself. They know it’s not true to pretend otherwise and yet… thought perhaps the orthodoxy consoles itself that way, you know, something along the lines of ‘hey, it’s nothing personal (ideological), just economics’!
