Another opinion poll on party support, this one taken by Millward Brown after the promissory note deal. Interestingly, it looks like FF are the ones benefitting from that deal, not the government parties: Fianna Fail 27%; Fine Gael, 25%; Labour 13%; Sinn Féin, 20%; and Independents/Others, 16%. Those figures are taken from the Irish Times’ summary, although the one on the Sindo website splits out the final figure into ULA 1%, Greens 1% and others 14%. Not sure whether that last point says something about the Times’ own reporting bias.
The Sindo also has a headline about FG rebels being in talks with Declan Ganley but I decided that, on balance, I’d rather spend this afternoon painting the kitchen wall and watching it dry.
